Change Nation Order

• I suggest changing the order of the four nation icons to USA, German, France, and USSR to match the order used within the game. --Trifler 06:02, 18 January 2012 (UTC)
• I was actually going to change the order, to alphabetical, American, Chinese, French, German and USSR. or in game order. Still pondering --Jiri Starrider 06:24, 18 January 2012 (UTC)
• The ordering differs between the clients:
  • EU has Germany, France, USA, USSR, China, which is what the wiki front page currently has as well.
  • US has what Trifler wrote above.
  • RU have USSR, Germany, USA, France, China.

They try to make their target demographic happy by rearranging it for each region (possibly France is even first for French localization, never checked). So going alphabetical might be the best idea eventually, however if you do that I suggest to keep the names as they are used in game, incl. the abbreviations. That's what everyone is used to, and also it's more correct, as the USSR comprised more than just Russia. The disadvantage of that is that China and France would be first, the two smallest nations. You could also do game internal ordering by order of appearance, which is 'ussr', 'germany', 'usa', 'china', 'france', 'uk', or just keep it as it is...

• Hello, I am SuperJaws100. Im new. I agree with Snib. I think this would be the best way to go when it comes to spelling. I think that it should be in order of introduction into the game, though. Any particular reason why we don't use this Chinese graffiti image? It appears to match the ones for the other nations much better than the one that's on the main page currently. --Trifler 11:32, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

Translations

I suggest to make existing pages into the portal's languages (English is already made, so French, German, Polish and Spanish). On my side, I translate tank's description first (then, historical ones) in my own language (french). If this suggestion is accepted, then tell me and I give finished one (I start with french tanks). In general the separate language wiki's are actually separate wiki's linked by a special link that automatically displays on the left side (see our main page for the RU link). I don't know of any plans currently WG has to make a WoT wiki in another language and it is something beyond the scope of what we are doing here. Wiki Forums

I think there needs to be a link to the wiki forums on the front page. The links near the bottom for the different servers go to the WoT forums.

Replay section

I was wondering if I could add a replay guide section to the main page guides or link it somehow to the main page. The idea is to do a guide from recording a replay ingame to uploading it to mwreplays or encondig the replay nad upload it to youtube/vimeo/etc to share with others. addition to player opinions: counter strategies

I think it would be a nice addition if each tank page would have a section of strategies to fight against this tank. I've seen many people die because they dont know how to exploit even the most obvious weaknesses of their enemies and I think that the wiki would be the right place for some tips. --Killswitch247 16:59, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

Tanks Perks

1st I am really sorry for putting this here, I dont know how else to ask to help, I Fell in love with WOT and I would like to help With the Wiki. I noticed that when visiting the Russian Site they have the perks set up but I am unable to copy and paste it so I was hoping that someone with a little more skill could set one up and I will gladly go through many tanks Placing them in. --Phantemxl 1:02, 18 December 2012 (PST)
