The T71 CMCD is an American tier 7 light tank.
A project of an airborne light tank. Developed by the Cadillac company from 1952 through 1956 as a replacement for the M41 tank. In 1956, due to insufficient funds, the project was discontinued in favor of the more promising T92. No prototypes were built.
The T71 CMCD leads to the M41 Walker Bulldog.

Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Slightly smaller profile than T71 DA
- “Compact” size light tank
- Easier to “waste” shots due to not having an autoloader
- APCR as standard ammunition with high velocity (even travels faster than t10 TD prem APCR)
- Highest stats in all aspects of maneuverability in its tier and type; 10 more degrees of traverse than DA
Cons:
- Subpar accuracy
- Less damage output in a series than DA or other autoloaders
- Tall turret ceiling
- Big cupola for a light
Performance
Slightly smaller than its cousin, DA, it is hard for enemies to hit this tank especially when moving. If you have ever played with M5 Stuart or M5A1, the T71 should be played alike. Just to make sure once you have been detected, you better get out of there fast. At these tiers, tanks will have better damage output and accuracy compared to tanks that would be shooting at an M5. If you had the DA before CMCD introduction to the game, you will have this tank researched. It can also be played alike as DA.
The cupola and the height of the turret is “oh-my” so big for a light making hulldown not advisable even though the tank profile is small. The top gun isn’t the same as DA’s top gun as it isn’t an auto-loader. Not having an auto-loader shouldn’t decrease the T71 CMCD as the gun handling is better per shot. If you going against a DA or other autoloaders, be sure to catch them by surprise or another shot after they unleash their load would usually be a fatal shot.
Just remember: The tanks you’re facing has better accuracy and damage output.

Historical Accuracy Errata
The T71 CMCD version was not planned by Army Ordanance Committee. It may be a replica of T71E1 but no affiliation can be confirmed. T71 (DA) is the most accurate of T71.
- Army Ordnance Committee did not assign “CMCD” or “DA” to T71.
