The M41 HMC is an American tier 5 self-propelled gun.
Light SPG on the M24 chassis saw service in the U.S. Army until the mid 1950s. Some vehicles were supplied to France. According to various sources, about 85–250 SPGs were manufactured.
The M41 is a great tank for it's tier and very similar to the Hummel in both accuracy and hit points. The advantage over the Hummel is that its ammo doesn't cost nearly as much along with a higher top speed, though this is negated by low acceleration, traverse speed and not as good TD mode player as its German counterpart.
The M41 HMC leads to the M44.

Historical Info
The self-propelled howitzer M41 was based on a lengthened M24 Chaffee chassis, and had many of the same modifications as the hull of the M19 self-propelled twin 40mm anti-aircraft gun. The M41's engine was moved to behind the drivers' compartment, and the 155mm howitzer mount was placed at the rear of the vehicle. Of the 250 ordered, 60 were delivered.
