The M41 HMC is an American tier 5 self-propelled gun.
Light SPG on the M24 chassis saw service in the U.S. Army until the mid 1950s. Some vehicles were supplied to France. According to various sources, about 85–250 SPGs were manufactured.
Similar to the Hummel in both accuracy and hit points, the M41 boasts an impressive gun traverse which will require to readjust your SPG very few times, and a better reload time, though, compared to the Hummel, it has low acceleration, traverse speed and less adaptability to TD mode should it need to.
None the less, the M41 will feel right at home in any match that it gets placed, as its 155mm Gun is capable of dealing sufficient damage to any tank it gets to encounter and effective range across the map, mind that the Shell travel time is slower than other Tier 5 SPGs. Players coming fresh from the M37 will never have to worry about poking higher-tier enemies for insignificant damage.
The M41 HMC leads to the M44.

Early Research
- Unfortunately, nothing carries over from the M7 Priest. not that youll need to.
- The SCR 610 and SCR 619 radios are also used by the M8A1, so they will be available if you played it prior to the M41.
- Research the Twin Cadillac 42A engine first since it has an inexpensive XP cost, increases horsepower by 1/3, and has the same weight.
- You may need to research the SCR 610 radio next just to be effective.
- The upgraded suspension is next since the increased weight capacity is required for the 155 mm Gun M1918M1.
- Now you can research the 155 mm Gun M1918M1.
- Lastly research the SCR 619 radio so you can once again have the excellent radio range you had with the M7 Priest.

Historical Info
The self-propelled howitzer M41 was based on a lengthened M24 Chaffee chassis, and had many of the same modifications as the hull of the M19 self-propelled twin 40mm anti-aircraft gun. The M41's engine was moved to behind the drivers' compartment, and the 155mm howitzer mount was placed at the rear of the vehicle. Of the 250 ordered, 60 were delivered.
