?|One of the most futuristic tanks of its time, with unique thick and rounded armour. There is almost no straight angled part on the hull and turret which gives it good shot deflection abilities. In game, it plays more like a heavy medium or heavy tank. While it has a high top speed the horrible acceleration means you will be moving at just over 20km, and is equipped with a slow firing gun. Players often call it the "Duck" in game due to its shape. Becuase of how slow it is the AMX 40 is often refered to as one of the worst grinds in the game, right along with the [[M3 Lee]], [[Pz.Kpfw. 38 (t) n.A.]] and [[A-20]]. Remember, the enemies that are your tier and below that can scratch you are TD`s, Artillery, tier 3 Chi-Ha, tier 3 PzII. G, and other AMX 40`s. Also, Matilda`s and Valentines can be a big threat with their guns, which are fast firing, and an easily penetrate you. T-28`s have a good chance with their last 57mm gun, while you could be easily flanked or penetrated by a tier 5.+
