?* No gun depression making 'TD Mode' hard+
?* Low alpha damage per shot. Avoid shooting heavily armored targets like [[Maus]] or [[E-100]]. Even hit to front plate of [[Foch]] Tank Destroyer does only around 200 damage.+
?* Needs a Radio Operator unlike its predecessor and successor. This breaks the Brothers in Arms perk you should have trained by this tier.+

?|InTheGame_performance=The Bat Chatillon 155 is an extremely powerful addition to the tier 9 artillery family. You will quickly find that it plays significantly different than any of its counterparts. Like the Russian SU-26 it also uses a rotating turret, allowing far greater accuracy and easier target acquisition. Lastly it is the quickest artillery around reaching speeds upwards of 62 kph, allowing for quick repositioning. While these features can be a bit jarring when you are used to the current tier 8 pieces, mastering them will give you an artillery that is extremely fun to play and well suited for Clan Wars strategies.+

?As an artillery, the armor on the Bat Chatillon 155 is paper thin and cannot be counted on to bounce any shots. It however has some of the best defensive tools of any tier 8 artillery. It tops out at 62 kph with good acceleration, allowing it to move quickly around the battlefield to find better angles of fire quickly as well as escaping approaching enemies. The 360 degree turret provides multiple benefits including faster tracking of moving enemies and the ability to sometimes defend themselves from enemy scouts that try to circle or close in.+

?The Bat Chatillon 155 comes with a single armament from which it derives its name from, the Canon de 155mm. This gun will feel extremely familiar to fire compared to its predecessor, the Lorraine 155 51, with upgrades to the firing speed and aim times as well as a slight decrease in average reload.+

?Following Lorraine’s project of the self propelled howitzer, Batignolles Chatillon started the work on the self propelled artillery vehicle with a fully rotatable turret. Main feature was to be drum based automatic loader system installed in the turret. In late 1958 all development was canceled and project was abandoned with only a one prototype built.+
