Find a good bush a couple hundred meters away from the area you want to spot (400 m is about the furthest away you would want to be). As you spot enemies, '''do not fire''', this will give away your position and you will die very quickly if you are not lucky. Hopefully, your team will take advantage of these tanks that are out in the open thinking they are safe. While you aren't doing any damage, you will be credited with spotting enemies your team damages, which generates exp and credits better than you would think it would. Should you notice that there is a opening in the enemy's lines, you can take the risk and go for their arty (this usually works best with the 76 mm autoloader as it has higher burst damage). | |||

The 59-16 is a Chinese tier 6 light tank.
In 1957 a new light tank project was initiated by the Chinese government. Development of vehicle was completed in 1959. The new tank, weighing 16 tons, was equipped with a four-wheel torsion-bar suspension and a rear placement of the drive wheel, and mounted a 57-mm gun (later upgraded to 76-mm).
This tank weighs very little , and has weak armor to match. Unfortunately, both its view range and speed are subpar for a light tank. The tank can mount an autoloader, although it has low penetration, and the little armor this tank has is well angled.
The 59-16 leads to the WZ-131.

- Very low penetration on the top gun
Performance
Never stop. Use terrain to protect yourself. Flank, or watch for enemies that aren't paying attention to you and then unload on them.
Another valuable tactic in the 59-16 is to be a passive scout. This works best when you equip your tank with a camo net and binocs. Find a good bush a couple hundred meters away from the area you want to spot (400 m is about the furthest away you would want to be). As you spot enemies, do not fire, this will give away your position and you will die very quickly if you are not lucky.
Early Research
Get the engines first for mobility, followed by the turret so you are more durable and have a better view range. You can either go for the tracks and the gun if you want to be more aggressive, or get the radios and tracks if you wish to passive scout. After doing one of those, go ahead and research the remaining modules.
