The Type 64 is a Chinese tier 6 premium light tank.
More than 50 of these vehicles were produced in Taiwan, ROC. All basic components of the vehicle were based on those of American vehicles. The Hellcat turret was mounted on the chassis of the M42 anti-aircraft vehicle, and the armament was the well-proven M1A2 gun. Only one Type 64 prototype survives today.

- Good camo rating
- Good view range, especially with binocs
- Fast firing gun
Cons:
- Has little to no armor, every shot taken penetrates
- Open top tank, which means it gets wrecked by HE ammunition
- Cannot mount improved ventilation, also because of its open top
- Crew and modules are prone to frequent damage
- Cannot run premium gasoline, only the standard +5%
Performance
This is a scout tank, and is best to play it as such. At the start of the game, rush forward to your favorite passive scouting location and let the binocs activate. Once the enemies have been spotted, fall back and begin to plan your active scouting runs, utilizing the extra view range added by the coated optics. Once the enemy team has been destroyed, use the excellent rate of fire to decimate the remaining enemy tanks that are most likely preoccupied with the oncoming friendly tanks. The Type 64 absolutely loves catching the flank of an enemy heavy tank. Due to its fast reload time, often times it is easy to shave off two to three hundred of the enemy's health before he can even turn the turret. The Type 64 is also great at firing on the move, so don't be afraid to put the gun to work if you can during your active scouting runs.
