The 121B is a Chinese tier 10 premium medium tank.
The upgraded version of the 121 Chinese medium tank, developed in the 1960s. Unlike the prototype, the 121B was equipped with a modern 105-mm rifled gun, improved suspension, and reinforced front armor. The vehicles of this modification were equipped with infrared lamps and a laser rangefinder. The 121B aiming system had a higher firing accuracy than that of the Type 59.

Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Strong turret face armor and decent upper glacis for a medium
- Accurate 105mm gun with good gun handling
- Astounding premium HEAT round with 350mm penetration; also has access to HESH(HEP) instead of regular HE shell
- Great scouting capability: incredible view range of 420m, one of the highest in game; camouflage value is also good
- Good agility, fast turret and hull traverse
Cons:
- Vulnerable ammunition storage and fuel tank located in the front of the hull
- Low top speed of 50km/h
- Mediocre if not subpar DPM, charging into a brawl will cost dearly
- Somewhat mediocre gun depression of just 5°

Historical Accuracy Errata
Despite the description, this tank is fake - while the 121 did exist as a prototype medium tank, the Royal Ordnance 105mm L7 did not become available to the Chinese until after the 121 project was cancelled. Note that this should not be confused with the Type 79, which is an entirely different tank.
- The 105 mm L7 did not become available to China until 1978. All 121 prototypes were destroyed in the 1960s.
- The first Type 59 to be armed with the 105 mm L7 was in 1981. This variant was known as the Type 59-II (WZ-120B).
