The 122 TM is a Chinese tier 8 premium medium tank.
During the Soviet-Chinese border conflict in 1969, Chinese forces captured a Soviet T-62, which had a significant impact on the development of the 122 TM. In autumn 1970, two prototypes were manufactured featuring additional armament: four anti-tank missiles on the turret's sides and a double-barreled DShK machine gun on the gunner's hatch. During trials in 1971–1973, the construction proved faulty, leading to development being discontinued in 1974.
The 122 TM can be obtained from the 2021 Lunar Challenge.

Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- 400 Average Damage is very high for a Tier 8 medium tank. Excellent at trading shots
- Superb penetration and shell velocity on standard and premium ammunition.
- Great gun depression and turret armor
- Good accuracy and aimtime
- Good top speed
Cons:
- Has the absolute worst damage per minute of any tier 8 medium tank, with a base damage per minute of just over 1,300
- VERY long reload time, with a ridiculously long 17.5 seconds base reload
- While it has a good top speed the engine has a very weak 580 hp, and the tank's mobility is quite sluggish
- Very Poor base view range of 370
- 2 giant weakspots on the turret that are easily penetrated
