The AMX 13 57 GF is a French tier 7 premium light tank.
The AMX company conceived this light tank, which was to mount the 57-mm L/100 gun. Problems in development slowed the project, and by the 1950s the vehicle was still not ready for presentation. By that time, the production of a modified chassis with the turret mounting a 75-mm gun had taken precedence, and the 57-mm version was discontinued.
This tank was for sale only by the gift shop from the 18/4/15 until 4/5/15 as part of the Grand Final Package Grand Finals Offers

Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- 8 round drum fires 710hp of damage in roughly 8 seconds.
- Rather short full reload of 16 seconds (base).
- Good accuracy at any range.
- Fast top speed.
- Low profile makes this tank hard to spot.
Cons:
- Fires faster than it can aim.
- Low penetration for its tier, but still passable.
- Barely any depression, not much better for the elevation.
- Prone to taking multiple component/crew damage from single shots.
Performance
This tank plays much like other french light tanks. With a good top speed and maneuverability, active scouting is an option, but it's generally dangerous to do so as many tanks will attempt to take you out, if they don't underestimate your damage. Passive scouting and support/sniping is a good role to give this tank. With the mere 100 damage per shot, many enemies will shrug off the damage, until you empty several more shots into them, sometimes even your entire clip.
Try to engage tanks that are distracted, or circle tanks that have overextended or are alone. Artillery, tank destroyers, and heavies will fall to your gun if they are singled out and you can circle them. When possible, conserve ammo as you only have 56 shots (7 clips). APCR will come in handy if you intend on fighting face-to-face.
Camouflage is important on this tank, so the perk will come in handy, as your armor will rarely not be penetrated if you are shot. View-range increasing skills also come in handy to assist in scouting.
