The VK 72.01 (K) is a German tier 10 premium heavy tank.
A superheavy tank with rear placement of the turret. Developed by the Krupp company. A new vehicle was to have stronger armament and enhanced armor compared to the VK 70.01. Existed only in blueprints.
Also known as the "Failowe", the VK 72.01 (K) was awarded to the 3,000 players who amassed the most Fame Points in the Second Clan Wars Campaign. Notable for its unique appearance, the tank is the most mobile of the German tier 10 heavy tanks, and utilizes the E 100's 15 cm Kw.K. L/38.

Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Very good frontal hull armor
- Very difficult to penetrate when facehugging
- The rear-mounted turret makes sidescraping a viable option
- The heavy weight and decent speed makes ramming a viable option
- The 15 cm L/38 deals 750 average damage
Cons:
- Shares the same gun with the E 100, but has a noticeably longer reload time
- Only holds 24 rounds of ammunition
- Has weakspots on its sides and turret
- Much weaker side and rear armor than its German tier 10 heavy counterparts
- Ammo rack is frequently damaged from the sides and rear
Performance
As it is pretty fast for a german tier 10 Heavy tank its best to utilize this by claming a choke point and start sidecraping. This tank is a beast when you only expose your front hull. The tanks suffers from a pretty weak side and hull armor which means that you should not be too offensive as you might get flanked and will not be able to counter fast tanks that circle you. Also keep in mind that this tank has a significant longer reload then the E100 which menas that its as good as a pushing tank as the E100.
