?|Possibly the most consistently and seriously damaging heavy tank in the game, the FV215b is as quirky as it is potentially devastating. Most easily likened to the American T110E5 but with less frontal armor and more gun, the 215b is outfitted with a marginally better hull than the [[Caernarvon]] and [[Conqueror]], but even more prone to module damage and crew injury at its own tier. Nevertheless, the tank makes some spectacular leaps from its predecessor in terms of turret thickness, gun performance, general stats, and not least in agility as it receives roughly a 65% increase in traverse speed. Also, it may take some time to get used to the rear mounted turret and finds its gameplay similar that of the [[Maus]] in that aspect.+Possibly the most consistently and seriously damaging heavy tank in the game, the FV215b is as quirky as it is potentially devastating.  Just as the [[Conqueror]] it can use HESH shells, with such a huge alpha damage it can severely cripple any other tank as long as it scores a penetrating hit. But the Regular AP round is still enough to do the job. Just as the [[Conqueror]] it can use HESH shells, with such a huge alpha damage it can severely cripple any other tank as long as it scores a penetrating hit. Possibly the most consistently and seriously damaging heavy tank in the game, the FV215b is as quirky as it is potentially devastating. Most easily likened to the American T110E5 but with less frontal armor and more gun, the 215b is outfitted with a marginally better hull than the Caernarvon and Conqueror, but even more prone to module damage and crew injury at its own tier. Nevertheless, the tank makes some spectacular leaps from its predecessor in terms of turret thickness, gun performance, general stats, and not least in agility as it receives roughly a 65% increase in traverse speed. Also, it may take some time to get used to the rear mounted turret and finds its gameplay similar that of the Maus in that aspect.

Just as the Conqueror it can use HESH shells, with such a huge alpha damage it can severely cripple any other tank as long as it scores a penetrating hit. But the Regular AP round is still enough to do the job.

|InTheGame_pros=

  • High DPM
  • High accuracy (Good on the move as well)
  • Can use High-penetration HE (HESH) shell (twice that of its competitors)
  • Mobility is very good for a heavy
  • Large health pool
  • The strandard HE can be a nasty surprise if you aim for weakspots

|InTheGame_cons=

  • Weak armor with lots of weak points
  • Rear-mounted turret
  • Ammo rack is weak
  • Catches fire easily, with weak fuel tanks
  • Easy to track
  • Very Vulnerable to artillery

|InTheGame_performance=

The key to playing this fearsome support tank right is clearly found in proper positioning and usage of cover and such tactics as "side-scraping". The FV215b is very much an all or nothing machine; in the wrong hands it is awkward, difficult to handle and frail, but properly driven it can be a monster.

|History=The FV215b was a project variant of the FV 214, or its more known name, the Conqueror. The 183mm cannon was first tested on the FV 4005 Conway, but after tests failed the gun would attempted to be mounted on the conqueror as the FV215b. Information about this project are very limited around, as the project was scrapped after a full size mock up was built and examined.
