The Sherman III is a British tier 5 medium tank.
The American M4A2 medium tank was manufactured with a diesel engine and supplied under Lend-Lease to the U.K., where it was designated the Sherman III. A total of 5,045 of these tanks were supplied to the U.K. during the war.
The Sherman III marks the end of its British medium line.

Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Good speed. On par with the M4
- It has a lot of guns to choose from; damage dealing howitzer, quick firing 6 pdr that is not offered on the M4, or an univers
- Straight angled hull compared to the M4's egg shape hull which allows for more effective angling of the hull.
- Large ammo capacity
Cons:
- Low premium ammo penetration compared to the M4 Sherman
- 2 degrees less gun depression than M4, although it's still good at -10
- All "American guns" (M1A1, 105 mm howitzer...) that can be mounted on Sherman III, have to be researched again, even if you a
- Fatally tall silhouette, easily destroyed if focused on
- All gun selections have terrible accuracy
