The Covenanter is a British tier 5 light tank.
A new cruiser tank that featured such innovations as an opposed-piston engine, front placement of cooling radiators, and the wide use of welding. The vehicle was ordered for production on April 17, 1939. A total of 1,771 tanks in four base variants were mass-produced. The Covenanter tanks were used mostly for training purposes in the U.K. from 1940 through 1943.
The covenanter is a fast-paced tank that is well suited for small incursions, covering the flanks from enemy incursions or with dealing with lower tier tanks or other scouts, as it has a very good reload and aiming, but the gun's penetration wont get you far from dealing with more than that, as they re completely useless when dealing with Heavy tanks from tier 4 and above. The Covenanter's Strength relies on its mobility to outflank and distract heavy targets to deprive them of track movement, while the other tanks destroy them, or simply to deal with any other target that intents to cross your defense. mind that the Covenanter cannot take much of a beating, so careful movements are required.
The Covenanter leads to the Crusader.
