The AT 2 is a British tier 5 tank destroyer.
A design for an assault tank to break through enemy defensive lines. The design was completed by May 15, 1943. No prototypes were built, but the project helped to set the stage for another heavy assault tank, the A39 Tortoise.
The AT-2 is radically different from its predecessors, it's the first true British Tank Destroyer in it's line. The AT-2 is very slow, boasts tough all-round armor, and has an increased hitpoint pool. The AT-2, unlike tank destroyers of other nations, is a front-line tank. It is most effective leading the team while drawing and deflecting enemy fire, albeit while moving slowly. The AT-2 is a spearhead breakthrough tank but absolutely requires supporting teammates; it has very poor viewrange and is extremely vulnerable to flanking. A flanked AT-2 should keep it's front towards the enemies in front. It must rely on its teammates to deal with the flank, it's turning speed is just too slow.

Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Very good all round armor for tier V
- Offers an accurate, quick-aiming, and fast-firing 6-pounder gun (Same as Churchill III and Ram II)
- Can be fitted with a 3.7-inch Howitzer.
- Higher hit points compared to other tier V tank destroyers
Cons:
- Very slow
- Low traverse speed
- Relatively low damage guns (typical for low tier British tanks)
Performance
With an astounding 203mm of frontal armour for a tier V, it is very much an intimidating opponent. One thing you must avoid while being in tier V matches, is that even though this TD is extremely well armoured, it still has weakspots and topped off with a slow top speed and a sluggish traverse speed, it is still just as easy to get killed along with the enemy using HE rounds. Leading a slow charge while using your frontal armour, and relatively large hitpoints compared to the other tier V TD's, with support will lead your team through to victory while using the accurate fast-firing guns to slowly chip away at the enemy. Know it's weaknesses and minimize them by playing with constant support, and you find this tank extremely rewarding.
