?The IS-7 is a Soviet tier 10 heavy tank. It could be compared to a B-1B Lancer. It's fast, agile, and delivers massive damage while being hard to kill due to its speed and maneuverability. The IS-7 has some of the best sloped frontal-armor in the game, having only two relatively hard to hit weak spots on the frontal armor. However, all these strengths come with a weakness; the IS-7 has weak rear armor which insures that if it does not travel with others, it will more than likely be tracked, flanked, and destroyed without mercy. The IS-7 uses the same gun, the 130mm S-70, same as the IS-4, the only difference is that it is much faster with a top speed of 50 km/h, as well as having very fast turret traverse. The IS-7 is a Soviet tier 10 heavy tank. The weak points are the driver's view-port right below the gun on the hull, and the ammo rack located on a small section of the rear side of the turret on the left side. The back armor can be hit with a strong gun and it will go through like a hot knife through butter.

The IS-7 currently marks the end of the USSR heavy tanks line, as well as the last tank of the Iosef Stalin series.

Historical Info

The development of the IS-7 started in the Spring of 1945. Prototypes were in trials during 1946 and 1947. By 1948, the IS-7 heavy tank was developed. The IS-7 model 1948 variant had a weight of 68 metric tons and was armed with the 130 mm S-70 naval cannon (7020 mm long barrel) with autoloader and stabilizer, infrared night scopes, 8 machine guns, armor from 220 to 300 mm thickness', and 60 km/h roadspeed. Only three were built and it was the largest tank ever produced by the USSR. Although it was in many ways an innovative design, it was never accepted for mass production due to its cumbersome size and the very impractical layout of its fighting compartment. The tank housed a crew of five. It must be noted that the Slostin gun was to be installed as its AA armament.
