The O-Ni is a Japanese tier 7 heavy tank.
A further development of the O-I with improved anti-tank guns. The military command's plan was to improve the earlier models and achieve a higher level of armor protection on the vehicle. Existed only in blueprints. No finished prototypes were built and the vehicle never saw action.
The O-Ni leads to the O-Ho.

Performance
The O-Ni is the next step towards the end of the Japanese Heavy tank Line. Having the most hit points at tier 7 (1550 hitpoints), it can take a massive beat, yet still survive and kick everyone. Also, having two powerful guns to choose from makes it perfect to dish it out. The two guns, namely a 105mm and a 150mm, that was found on the O-I, one tier down, give it the firepower necesary to take down anything it'll stumble upon. Much like all Japanese Heavies, O-Ni doesn't make an exception: it feels right at home in the city, where it can use angling to bounce shots, poke out and hit targets and then safely pull back to reload. Although it's bigger than even some houses, being powerful and fearful at the same time, it does not come without its disadvantages. 1: It's ammo rack gets frequently hit and taken down due to being placed on the sides, thus being a nightmare trying to shoot with a damaged ammorack. 2: You have a paper thin side, similar to O-I, and to compound that, it'is completely FLAT. Yes, it is flat. So, whatever you do, don't show your side armor. If you're forced to do so, sidescraping with lots of care can do the trick, but be wary of your side cheeks.
Early Research
Once you get the tank, buy the engine, and the 15 cm gun. You will have better chances of making more money with this gun due to the Ginormous HE round that this thing fires. After a long and painful grind, get the 10cm exp. gun. Due to the large increase of AP penetration compared to the 15 cm type 96, AP will be the main ammo you fire in this. after this point, you are free from the grips of pain, as you are free to choose how to upgrade your tank.

Historical Accuracy Errata
In-game name is incorrect, it was one of variants of O-I and they all were "O-Is" along with O-I and O-Ho.
- There is no historical basis that this O-I variant used neither 15 cm howitzer or the 10 cm Experimental Tank Gun.
