?* 122mm gives this tank one of the most powerful guns at tier 6+
?* Good Agility+
?* Proper angling enables unexpected bounces even from higher tier guns on occasion+
?* Good Turret Armor+
?* High Top speed and weight allows this tank to cause serious damage, but more so as a last resort+
?* 122mm D-2-5T can one shot virtually all tier IV tanks it encounters, many tier Vs, several tier VIs and can deal considerable damage to all other tiers it encounters.+
?* Despite the inherent inaccuracy of the 122mm, with the right crew and in capable hands the gun can still accurately hit weak spots and targets at a distance, if done correctly.+
?* Excellent credit maker, and when elited a great convertible XP generator.+

?* Grind through modules can become frustrating without the 122mm+
?* Can easily melt away in higher tier matches, especially with long reload time+
?* Inaccurate in general with 122mm, mainly can become an issue at long range+

?Although not as well armored as the T-150, the KV-1S trades armor for speed and maneuverability. With top gun, this tank is rightly feared, and very rarely do you see a KV-1S without a 122mm D-2-5T mounted.+

?If you are on the top of the roster when in a match with this tank, remember you have one of the most powerful guns around. Take care to stay alive as if you are the only KV-1S on your team, your team will lose immense firepower and very likely a firm victory if your tank gets knocked out early on without having done much. The key is to lay low but at the same time, lash out. This tank is practically helpless out in the open, so it is strongly recommended you use cover as much as possible, popping out to strike terrible blows on anything you can land a shot on. Sniping IS an option, but do not rely consistently on this to carry your team. Players who are used to TDs may find playing this tank fully upgraded very enjoyable, for it plays similarly yet it can also brawl when needed.+

?When at the bottom in a match, play a supporting role. Your health and Armor will make little difference against the power of superior tanks such as the IS-3, but remember, you can still leave them hurting with a well placed shot.+

?Play this tank well and you can expect to score many high damage games, which can translate to large sums of credits, and if you go on to elite this tank, a large reserve of free experience.+

?It is highly advisable to make your way to the 122mm D-2-5T as quickly as you can, the 85mm D-5T can help considerably with unlocking the 122mm, but in order to equip it you need the upgraded turret and suspension.+
