The 7TP is a Polish tier 2 light tank.
The 7TP was a modification of the Vickers Mk.E British tank produced in Poland under license. Unlike the original, this vehicle featured a more powerful PZInż. 235 engine (Saurer VBLDb), an improved turret, and better armament. The first tanks manufactured had two turrets. In 1935, the Swedish Bofors company signed an agreement to produce a turret and gun that were intended for a single-turret model of the tank. The first prototype of the single-turret 7TP tank underwent trials in February 1937 and mass production started. A total of 110 vehicles were built during September 1939.
The 7TP leads to the 10TP.

Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- great dpm for tier two with upgraded gun
- good mobility
- great gun depression
- decent view and signal ranges
- good penetration; can get most tier threes
Cons:
- terrible armour
- low top speed
- stock grind can be painful
Performance
This tank is best played as a sniper or providing second line fire support. NEVER drive out into the open; you have horrid armor and a long body. You will be shredded in just seconds. If angled, a few bounces can occur thanks to your large treads, but don't rely on them. Use terrain to your advantage as you have awesome gun depression. When spotted always get behind cover ASAP. Don't stick around to fire off that one last shot. As soon as you see someone looking at you run.
Early Research
- research the turret first to increase health, view range, traverse speed and to add 3mm of armor.
- research the 47mm QFSA next for increased dmg, pen, and reload time.
- next research the treads
- engine or gun, its up to you. both help dramatically, the gun increases pen by 10mm and reduces reload by .4 seconds. engine gives 5º faster traverse.
