Performance
The Object 705A is the heaviest of the Soviet heavy tanks. You'd have to be crazy to try shooting the turret front of this thing. However, lower plate is cheese for anyone you meet. Upper plate, although strong on paper, can and will be frequently penetrated by tier X premium rounds if left unangled, so angling is a must. Side armor is deceptively strong, but sidescraping will often let you down by a weakspot between upper tracks and hull. Speed is great when compared to other superheavies, and the ability to fit into spaces the Maus can't while having 250 more health than the Object 277, as well as a bigger-caliber gun than both, makes it a great tank in city maps. Its main downfall are accuracy, reload time, bad gun depression and the fact that you are a magnet for HE and premium rounds virtually ALL the time, as well as arty. Brothers in Arms/ventilation and gun rammer upgrades will help with gun handling, although not by much. Remember to stay with your allies, as this tank will often be rushed by multiple enemies if left alone.
The fear factor of this tank is a double edged sword. On one hand; its empowering to watch enemy heavies fidget and wiggle behind cover as you take aim or straight up run away as you advance. On the other hand however you're a high priority target for...EVERYONE. The moment you're even somewhat exposed anyone who knows this tank at all will see taking you down to be the highest priority, so expect premium and HE rounds to be near constantly fired at you.
