Yet another spinoff of the FT-17, this tank destroyer can be very fun to play with. It yields an interesting gun selection, it's maneuverable, fairly accurate, and has excellent ammo capacity.
The <value_unset_error> marks the end of its line.

Player Opinion
Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Fast reload times
- The only tank destroyer allowed in tier 2 battles
- Good view range
Cons:
- Very poor top speed
- Very weak armor
- The tall front shield hurts rather than helps
Performance
The top speed and handling are pretty much identical to the RenaultFT, with the downside of not being able to use the Franklin engine.
There are three 25mm guns to choose from, each an improved version of the one before. All three use the same ammunition, with the same damage and penetration. None can use HE shells. The first upgrade is very minor, providing a small increase in accuracy. The 25 mm automatique mle. makes the gun into an auto-cannon capable of firing five bursts of two rounds each. Keep in mind this is firing the same shells you were firing one at a time before.
The 47 mm SA-L Mle.37 tops it off with more penetration, damage, and accuracy. This is generally a better weapon for long range shots.
- The 25mm auto-cannon, nicknamed "Put-Put" by some players, can be very effective and a nasty surprise against even the thick armor of the Hotchkiss H35 and AMX 38.
- The gun traverses wide enough that you won't need to move your tank too often to get a shot. Just pick a good spot and fire at will!
- A Camo Net on this tank will make it practically invisible to anything that lurks nearby, and is much needed since your low armor won't allow you to survive many hits.
Early Research
- The Renault M26/27 engine and the ER 52 radio carry over from the RenaultFT, so you should equip those immediately.
- Start by researching the first gun upgrade, as the stock gun is pretty weak.
- Go from there.

Historical Info
Performance cannon SA18 were hopelessly inadequate in anti-tank combat. In view of the techniques featured November 12, 1939, 1,580 pc operating tanks in combat units and school and other conserved 1,235 tanks and stored in repositories.
December 21, 1939 draw firm APX (Atelier de Puteaux) drawings for the new interceptor tanks (avant-projet d'installation d'un matériel de su antichar 47 chars FT). The cannon should be placed on the site of the original towers should be protected and body armor similar to what had for example. German fighter tanks, Marder, and I Panzerjäger. Cannon armament should consist of modern anti-tank gun 47 mm de antichar model 1939 . Cannon should have an elevation + / - 15 ° lateral and volumetric 6 ° on either side. The crew should consist of three men.
Consideration was given numbers to be rebuilt in the future. The reserves were conserved 142 pieces of cannon tanks deprived of their arms. Another candidate for conversion were 504 pieces of eight "BCC" - Bataillon de chars de combat (tank battalions) or 315 pcs of "bataillons de manoeuvres" (training battalions).
Not being the largest, with which the engineers faced was low speed tank, which was 7.5 km/h. That was sufficient to support units of 1 foot World War II and was totally unsuitable for modern combat manoeuvering mechanized divisions. At a time when it was felt that the conversion took place at the same time much more promising projects to move about as anti-tank vehicles. Laffly W 15 TCC , Lorraine 39 chars du Chasseur , or Panhard Tourelle 178 and Renault . I view these projects is the implementation of the project missed the wait.
