The UDES 14 Alt 5 is a Swedish tier 8 medium tank.

A UDES 14 tank project developed by Bofors. This project was to feature a gun autoloader and hydraulic suspension, as well as the option of manual gun loading. Existed only in blueprints.

The UDES 14 Alt 5 leads to the UDES 16.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

- Hydropneumatic suspension; can utilizing more gun elevation depression when moving at low speed or stationary

- Sloped frontal hull armor can bounce some shots from 90mm caliber or lower guns

- Great agility; high traverse speed, top speed, and p/w ratio

- Top gun featured high alpha damage, very high shell velocity (due to utilizing APCR as default ammunition), as well as respectable penetration

- High view range, and very high signal range with top radio


Cons:

- Very weak armor thickness, extremely prone to HE shots and SPGs

- Poor gun depression while moving at high speed

- Low rate of fire, stock gun and second gun's alpha damage isn't that satisfying

- Light weight (22 tons); extremely prone to ramming
