The T82 is an American tier 3 tank destroyer. It is a very fast and powerful tank destroyer, especially when upgraded. The biggest downside is its paper-thin armor which makes the tank very vulnerable to almost anything, but if you manage to get a shell off at the enemy before he does - then he's most likely going to be dead if you're using the 105mm cannon. It is good to note that the very slow shell travel time of the 105mm, which requires shooting far ahead of moving targets. Another alternative is the use of the 57mm as a long range weapon, its high penetration and very fast fire rate for a tier 3 means that the T82 is able to damage and kill anything it will encounter, including heavies like the KV. The T82's guns offer quite different play style which can be extremely fun if correctly handled. It is sometimes nicknamed "The Jeep".
- The T82 leads to the T40.
