vulnerabilities section outdated

so, my deletion has been reverted. no problem, i can explain why i did that.

The second turret is not heavily armored and will not protect you from higher tiers.

this is just a "not" before a statement that has been true with the old (pre-change) pz4. it's meaningless since all tier 5 mediums have relativly low turret armor and none does protect from higher tiers.

As with most German tanks, the lower glacis plate is a vulnerable spot, which can be penetrated to damage the engine.

and so are most other tier 5 mediums too. additionally, the pz4 has only little turret armor, mediocre armor (= penned by many tier 4) in the frontal hull and nearly no armor in the lower hull. overall, the armor is average for a tier 5 medium since it can be be penetrated by most enemies you encounter with the pz4, especially since it is not angled. you could recommend that players should shoot into the turret, which is bigger and harder to hide than the lower glacis, but the best advice for fighting a pz4 with lower tier tanks with less than 80 pen is still movement and shooting in the sides.

When driving this vehicle, hide the lower glacis whenever possible

this is just purely outdated, as stated above.

The PzKpfw IV suffers from low hit points as a medium, and can be quickly eliminated

it has in fact a bigger hitpoint pool than most (non-premium) tier 5 mediums. the quick death is usual in tier 5 mediums, since they all have low hitpoints but high dpm.

but its fire rate and range mean it can often quickly eliminate you

this is not a vulnerability and it has been said with the performance panel

That said, the hull armour is easily penetrable

yes. and so is most mediums' hull armor.

On the sides and rear, it is weak enough that (in theory) a Tier I can penetrate it.

has been stated in the performance section. and also the shermans or the t-34 sides are weak against most enemies they encounter.

The ammo rack is located on the back of the turret and the side of the chassis, slightly forward from halfway. The rear hatch of the turret is a weak spot, along with the commanders cupola, the drivers view slot and the machine gun. The fuel tank hitbox is located further back in the chassis, at the very rear on both sides.

you dont need to shoot at weakspots at this tank. it isnt that hull-down monster that it once was anymore.

so, the vulnerabilities section states mostly outdated stuff or stuff that is common within medium tanks at this tier. either you respond to my arguments or i will delete it again in a few weeks. --Killswitch247 16:22, 30 November 2012 (UTC)
