UPDATE 1.14.1 IS HERE!

October 2021

  • Map Changes: Terrain irregularities on the Mannerheim Line map that caused vehicles to slide into the water have been smoothed out.
  • Field Modification: Alternate Configuration appearing before a battle starts can now be switched off. Additional changes were made to increase user-friendliness.
  • Changes to Technical Characteristics of Vehicles: Rebalancing of several Chinese vehicles, including the Type 59/Type 59 G.

Update 1.14

UPDATE 1.14 IS HERE!

August 2021

  • Czechoslovakian Heavy Tanks: The new branch consists of four researchable heavies from Tier VII to Tier X. Starting from Tier VIII, all Czechoslovakian warriors will give you the possibility to choose from two top guns to match your preferred gameplay style. One gun fires in regular mode, while the other is a two-shell autoloader with a short reload time between shells.
  • Recon Mission: new game mode
  • Rebalancing Premium and reward tanks including T34 and T34 B, AMX Chasseur de chars, KV-5, IS-6, and IS-6B, 112, WZ-111 and WZ-111 Alpine Tiger, T-34-3, M48A2 Räumpanzer, M46 Patton KR, T95E2, 59-Patton.
  • Changes to Personal Missions for artillery: The missions' changes are not very significant, because SPGs can still effectively stun enemy vehicles with the first HE shell and deal damage with the second one.
  • Field Modification: a brand-new feature for tweaking specific characteristics of Tier VI–X tanks (including Collectors', special, and Premium vehicles). Field Modification consists of three types of special adjustments you can make to a vehicle's parameters or setup.
  • New map: Safe Haven. Safe Haven is divided into two large gameplay zones. The first is the harbor area with plenty of cover and a huge bunker where heavily armored vehicles will feel right at home. The second is a picturesque green zone, which is good for faster and less-armored tanks. Ambush TDs and SPGs will also find some advantageous positions here.
  • Topography: The training in this mode takes place in a single-player mission format, where you’ll be able to master the basics of playing on maps of different difficulties. Completing missions and exploring maps will improve your navigation skills and help increase your survivability.

Update 1.13

UPDATE 1.13 IS HERE!

July 2021

  • Complex Rework of HE shells: In the new system, HE shells will be able to penetrate armor and cause damage at the point of impact. They will also be able to penetrate screens, tracks, the wheels of wheeled vehicles at the point of impact, as well as insignificant and/or destructible obstacles.
  • Changes to SPGs and other vehicles: SPGs will now have three shell types available to them. Each will feature its own combat purpose, trajectory, and velocity, so you will now have a greater variety of tactical opportunities. Two of these shell types will not cause stun, which will significantly reduce the total stun duration in battles. Non-SPG players now have 3 new tactical features at their disposal to counteract artillery: Sound Detection (aka "Sixth Sense for Arty"), brighter shell tracers, and field of fire markers on the minimap. Another new feature is the reworked Intuition perk, which will still be available for the Loader to learn. It will become a skill that allows you to greatly speed up the process of changing the shell type and will be available for all vehicles in the game.
  • Premium and Clan Warrs tanks rebalancing: Three Premium light tanks and six Clan Wars reward vehicles will receive improvements. We're updating their combat parameters and enhancing their strengths to improve their gameplay.
  • Mode selection interface improvements: Now it will be more convenient for you to choose the mode you want to play! We're introducing a standard, full-size screen with separate windows for the available in-game modes. Each mode will feature a brief preview and a more detailed description on a separate page. You will also be able to track your progress in some of the modes you play.
  • Minsk map rebalancing: We made several improvements to the birthplace of Wargaming. Plus, the season on the map has changed to autumn, and as such, visibility has improved in some areas. The map will be more versatile when it comes to choosing flanks and will allow teams to implement creative new tactics.
  • Changes to Blueprint Fragments: When creating a blueprint for a specific vehicle, if you don't have enough national fragments, you can substitute them with the national fragments of an allied nation (formations in the "Second Front" Personal Missions campaign).
  • Recon Mission Mode: In this mode, players will be able to try out maps that are in the late stages of development.
  • Ranked Battles 2021-2022: Season X: The Ranked Battles format was changed. For Season X, battles will take place between two teams of 10 players.
