Pros and Cons
Pros:
- Decent frontal armor is on-par with the M4A3E8.
- 76mm gun has a great Rate of Fire, but is no different from M4A3E8
- Turret mantlet can occasionally bounce some shots
- Good mobility
Cons:
- Poor side and rear armor for turret and hull
- Average alpha damage
- Firing on the move is illogical
Performance
Traverse speed is better than its Tier 6 brother, but otherwise performs exactly like the M4A3E8 in combat. Play this tank exactly as you would the regular Sherman.
