Ägir — Croiseur allemand promo premium Tier IX.

Les croiseurs de bataille corsaires étaient censés être équipés de six canons de 380 mm installés dans trois tourelles. Cependant, certains pensaient qu'un calibre de ce type était trop important pour un corsaire, étant donné la quantité limitée d'obus disponibles, et le fait que les obus soient trop puissants pour détruire des navires marchands. Un compromis entre une puissance de feu suffisante et la puissance des obus aurait été d'utiliser des emplacements de 305 mm à trois canons. Trois emplacements de ce type auraient offert une puissance de feu comparable à celle de trois emplacements jumelés de 380 mm.
