This is, according to intensive tests by Hardest streamed on twitch, simply wrong.&lt;br /&gt;
Top speed, acceleration and turn rate are unaffected by damaged tracks.&lt;br /&gt;
The only effect damaged tracks have: you can get tracked easier.&lt;br /&gt;
