HMS Iron Duke, Jellicoe's flagship at Jutland in 1916, seen at Scapa Flow in 1939 when she was in use as a depot / AA ship: her 'B' and 'Y' turrets have been removed. Two 'R' class battleships are in the background: famously, HMS Royal Oak (probably one of those shown) was sunk in the anchorage by U 47 in October that year.
