Blueprints
Blueprints are special items (exclusive to Rewards for Merit) that drop with a certain probability when playing Tier V-X vehicles. They are not purchasable for Credits, Gold, or real money.
Blueprints can be used to get discounts on research xp for new tanks, which saves you time and boosts your progression in the game. The discount is only applied to the vehicle's research cost, not its' modules or its' credit price.
The more effective you are in battle, the more likely you are to get a Reward for Merit, which sometimes contain blueprints. These items are available for vehicles of all branches and nations from Tier II to Tier X, including vehicles you've already researched.
There are 3 types of blueprints:
Specific: Attached to a specific tank. Discounts for these blueprints are automatically applied as soon as you earn them.
National: These can be combined with universal blueprints to create a fragment for any qualified tank of the given nation
Universal: These can be combined with national blueprints to create a fragment for a qualified tank of any nation
Example fragment creation:
German Tiger 1
Additional information:
- If you earn a Blueprint for an already researched vehicle, it will turn into a universal or national Blueprint.
- For vehicles of different Tiers, the number and ratio of national and universal Blueprints will vary.
- Tanks that already have a specific blueprint applied will have the " % " marker on the tank icon in the tech tree.
- A full list of your blueprints, tanks with current discounts, and tanks qualified for new fragment creation, can be found in the Depot.
Blueprints were added to the game with update 1.4.1, on March 19th, 2019. https://worldoftanks.com/en/news/updates/1-4-1-blueprints/
