Lunar New Year Challenge

With the holiday season finally over, we’re happy to… celebrate once again! There’s a long-lasting tradition here at World of Tanks to mark the Lunar New Year with a blast, so we’ve prepared a special challenge for every tanker to test their skills.

How It Works

To win this powerful Chinese medium and the 2D style, you need to complete 10 Stages by fulfilling missions for mastery or missions for commitment in Random Battles. Each Stage completed grants 10% off the final price of the 122 TM, as well as additional goodies to help you boost your performance in battle. If all 10 Stages are completed within the given timeframe, the 122 TM can be acquired for free.





  • Missions for commitment: the best option for dedicated and persistent players with a strong desire to get their hands on the 122 TM. All missions must be fulfilled using Tier VI–X vehicles. Players must also finish within the top 10 of their team by experience earned at the end of battle, regardless of whether their team wins or loses.
  • Missions for mastery: an alternative but more challenging path. Completing these missions will save time, but players will have to push themselves to the limit to succeed. These tasks can only be fulfilled using Tier IX–X vehicles.




Both sets of tasks can be fulfilled simultaneously (given that all conditions are met), so it doesn’t matter how you progress to the next Stage. The mission that is completed first will count towards your progress to the next mission on either path.

  • Earn a total of 3,000 points of base experience. Only experience for being among the top 10 players on your team by experience earned in Tier VI–X vehicles is counted.
  • Earn a total of 5,000 points of base experience. Only experience for being among the top 10 players on your team by experience earned in Tier VI–X vehicles is counted.
  • Earn a total of 9,000 points of base experience. Only experience for being among the top 10 players on your team by experience earned in Tier VI–X vehicles is counted.
  • Earn a total of 17,000 points of base experience. Only experience for being among the top 10 players on your team by experience earned in Tier VI–X vehicles is counted.
  • Earn a total of 28,000 points of base experience. Only experience for being among the top 10 players on your team by experience earned in Tier VI–X vehicles is counted.
  • Earn a total of 30,000 points of base experience. Only experience for being among the top 10 players on your team by experience earned in Tier VI–X vehicles is counted.
  • Earn a total of 33,000 points of base experience. Only experience for being among the top 10 players on your team by experience earned in Tier VI–X vehicles is counted.
  • Earn a total of 35,000 points of base experience. Only experience for being among the top 10 players on your team by experience earned in Tier VI–X vehicles is counted.
  • Earn a total of 40,000 points of base experience. Only experience for being among the top 10 players on your team by experience earned in Tier VI–X vehicles is counted.
  • Earn a total of 50,000 points of base experience. Only experience for being among the top 10 players on your team by experience earned in Tier VI–X vehicles is counted.

    • Mission for mastery

    • Stage 1.

    • Earn the High Caliber award once. Can be completed in Tier IX–X vehicles only.
  • Be the top player on your team by damage caused once. Can be completed in Tier IX–X vehicles only.
  • Earn at least 850 points of base experience 3 times. Can be completed in Tier IX–X vehicles only.
  • Cause at least 4,200 HP of damage in a battle 4 times. Can be completed in Tier IX–X vehicles only.
  • Cause at least 3,200 HP of damage and be the top player overall by damage caused 9 times. Can be completed in Tier IX–X vehicles only.
  • Earn the High Caliber award 5 times. Can be completed in Tier IX–X vehicles only.
  • Cause at least 4,200 HP of damage in a battle 12 times. Can be completed in Tier IX–X vehicles only.
  • Be the top player overall by experience earned 14 times. Can be completed in Tier IX–X vehicles only.
  • Be the top player on your team by damage caused 27 times. Can be completed in Tier IX–X vehicles only.
  • Be the top player on your team by experience earned 35 times. Can be completed in Tier IX–X vehicles only.

    Nail It with Lunar Missions

    Daily Chapter II missions are available to those who have added the 122 TM to their tank fleet. We made sure that the prize is worth it, so those who make it to the end will get a unique holiday 3D style available exclusively for the 122 TM. The new skin will be accompanied by Personal Reserves.

    Available for completion only in the 122 TM, Lunar Missions will last for 10 days. Not only will each objective fulfilled grant a discount to the 3D style bundle, it will also bring you valuable loot, including days of WoT Premium Account, Personal Reserves, and more. However, you only have to accomplish a total of 8 tasks to get a 100% discount on the bundle. Unlike the first bundle, this one will be available for gold.

  • Condition: Be among the top 3 players on your team by damage caused.

  • Condition: Score a total of 17 armor-penetrating hits on enemy vehicles over any number of battles.
  • Reward: 1 day of WoT Premium Account. 3 Personal Reserves: +50% to Combat XP for 1 h. 3 Personal Reserves: +200% to Crew XP for 1 h. 3 Personal Reserves: +200% to Free XP for 1 h. 12.5% discount on the 3D style bundle.
  • Condition: Earn at least 650 points of base experience and win the battle 2 times.
  • Reward: 1 Universal Training Manual. 3 days of WoT Premium Account. 3 Personal Reserves: +50% to Combat XP for 1 h. 3 Personal Reserves: +200% to Crew XP for 1 h. 12.5% discount on the 3D style bundle.
  • Condition: Cause at least 1,300 HP of damage in a battle and win the battle.
