Camouflages

Camouflages are unlocked at account level 8. They are used to enhance a ship's concealment and incoming dispersion by 4.5%. Camouflage changes a ship's aesthetics and appearance. A camouflage may be used by any ship.

Selecting a Camouflage

One may choose a camouflage for their selected ship in the Loadout section of the said ship. All camouflages must be reapplied after each battle.

Expendable Camouflages

Expendable camouflages are available to all ships in the game. Once applied and a battle fought, it is consumed and must be replaced. If there is more of the same pattern in stock, the replacement is automatic; otherwise, more can be purchased.

Permanent Camouflages

Premium ships are where permanent camouflage is generally found, as they are always equipped with one. However, it is possible to either buy/earn a special permanent camouflage through the in-game store or an event (like campaigns, missions, etc), or to create one using expendable camouflages and paint.

To make an expendable camouflage permanent, one must possess at least 12 camouflages of the chosen pattern. Some tech tree ships can create their historical camo for 75 paint. After the conversion, 12 copies of the chosen pattern or 75 paint will be consumed, and a level 1 permanent camouflage of the chosen pattern will be created. Permanent camouflage comes in 4 levels, each granting a better bonus than the previous one. To upgrade a camouflage, paint must be used:

• Level 1 to Level 2 → 150 paint
• Level 2 to Level 3 → 250 paint
• Level 3 to Level 4 → 350 paint
• Total → 750 paint
