It was prior stated that the Kurfurst had a heaver broadside weight than Montana. This is incorrect despite the Kurfurst having larger caliber guns than Montana because the Montana uses the Mk. 8 Super Heavy AP Shell weighing 2,700 lb while the 17" AP shell the Kurfurst uses weights slightly less at 2, 690 lb.
