I was told we weren't supposed to mention weak spots in the wiki... --Trifler 03:34, 5 February 2012 (UTC)

I didn't hear that, but if true, I'll remove it. Can someone confirm this? --Aero37 03:46, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
Seems to be a glaring omission. I certainly don't think we should link to that site that has the made up internal renderings, but I do think it's ok to talk about the strength and weakness' of the tanks. The B1's hull gun, the ammo rack vulnerability on the side of the Type 59, etc. --Jiri Starrider 05:30, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
I wasn't referring to the strengths and weaknesses of the tanks in general. I was referring to actual "weak spots". --Trifler 23:56, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
So was I. A Big Giant "SHOOT HERE" target zone, as in the B1's hull mount, seems like a weakness to me. From the RU wiki about it (via Google Translate) - "commander's cupola and the mask 75-mm guns make their way very easily, so you have to constantly play up and move back and forth, not allowing the enemy to aim." I see no reason why we can't convey the same info they can. So, how you wrote it is fine. --Jiri Starrider 01:07, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
Ok then. --Trifler 07:36, 6 February 2012 (UTC)

I think that if players have discovered a weakness in a tanks armor through game-play, then it is fair game for the Wiki. This is only my opinion however.

75mm howitzer gun in hull

Too bad we can't make any use of it. Would have been nice to see this tank function as a self-propelled artillery as well as a heavy tank. Wolcott 03:25, 8 September 2012 (UTC)

The M3 Lee uses its hull gun, so its pretty unfair that this tank cannot. I just went head-to-head with one in Random Battles with the SA37 gun and AP rounds, and almost all of the shots failed to penetrate, while the M3 did the opposite. Unbelievable. Wolcott 13:48, 8 September 2012 (UTC)
