HEAT does less damage than standard HE?
I would like to say that's debatable. I can count far more times I've gotten the coveted One-Shot kill with a HEAT round from my times in the A-10 AT, than I can with the basic AP and HE rounds. I also seem to land many more "Critical hit!"s with HEAT's than with other larger HE rounds. Including the StuG.
