The M7 is an American tier 5 light tank.

本車の開発は 1941 年に開始されました。当初は軽戦車として開発が始まったものの、徐々に装甲と武装が強化された結果、その分類は中戦車へと改められました。この M7 中戦車の生産は 1942 年の秋に開始されましたが、速力と大きさを除くあらゆる性能が M4 シャーマン (Sherman) に劣っていたため、生産は打ち切られました。生産台数は 7 輌のみでした。
