The Birch Gun is a British tier 4 self-propelled gun.

1920 年代に、イギリスの技師たちは戦車の車体を流用して自走砲を製造するというアイデアを検討し、1923 年にウーリッジの王立工廠において本車の開発が開始されました。必要なモジュールを搭載可能な車体として、ヴィッカース中戦車マーク II (Vickers Medium Mark II) のものが選択され、1926 年から 1927 年にかけて試作車輌が合計 7 輌製造され、1927 年 5 月 1 日に創設された実験機械化部隊に配備されました。しかし後にこの部隊は解散され、この自走砲開発計画も中止されたのでした。

The Birch Gun marks the end of its British self-propelled gun line.
