Walkthrough

Upon spawning, players will find themselves among a group of allied players, along with Transylvania, who they need to escort to the portal, so it can be destroyed stopping the forces of the filth from coming through. The map is covered in filth that will quickly do a lot of damage[1] to the players. The enemies spawn in waves with the first wave being 2x destroyers and 2x cruisers. Then the Megaera, Alecto, and Tisiphone (Pre-nurf Khabarovsk hulls) will spawn south or south west of the second tower. These destroyers will de-spawn with a flash of lightning after a certain amount of time to respawn at full HP between each wave until all three have been sunk. The second wave will then either spawn south or west of the players,[2] and consist of 1x Octopus (Mogami) 1x Scarab (Charles Martel) and 1x Leviathan (North Carolina). The third wave will appear around the time the players reach the third tower and will consist of 1x Destroyer 1x Cruiser and 1x Battleship. The fourth wave will also consist of 1x Destroyer 1x Cruiser and 1x Battleship, but The Great Gorgon (Shōkaku) will also spawn in the filth on the west side at the same time. The final wave will be 2x Rasputin Battleships (buffed Imperator Nikolai I) appearing on either side of the portal.

Additional Information

The circle around Transylvania keeping out the filth gradually shrinks as the battle goes on.

Enemy ships take half damage from all sources while in the filth.

The Great Gorgon and Rasputin actively heal while in the filth

During the last two waves is usually best to let one destroyer focus on The Great Gorgon while all other ships focus on protecting Transylvania.

Ships in the filth have an additional concealment bonus.

Trivia

This is the same map as Sunray in the Darkness but with a reverse battle direction.

French destroyers like Mogador stop taking damage in the filth once their main hull is damage saturated since unlike other ships, their main hull has less module HP than the total HP of the ship

Notes

  1. This damage is treated as citadel damage.
  2. The portal is in the south west corner of the map.
  3. Preparation time includes the reload time for tactical squadron.s
