Alpis Graia (Summer)

Alpis Graia (Summer)

Alpis Graia was the Roman name for a mountain pass in the Alps near the modern-day town of Aoste. It is believed that Hannibal Barca, legendary Carthaginian general, used this pass to lead his army with its war elephants into Italy. When a band of mountain men loyal to Rome spotted his ascent they laid an ambush in the pass to stop his advance. Hannibal’s army, though exhausted from their epic march, fought off the ambushers and cleared the route - at last, Italy was his for the taking!

  • Alpis Graia is a large and mountainous map with a road going through the middle and a central watchtower.
  • Use the hilly terrain: fighting downhill gives you the advantage.
  • The forests on the northern and southern edges of the map allow you to sneak around the enemy's flank.
  • The watchtowers next to the bases can be used both defensively and offensively. Control them for better base defence.
