Training of Roman legionaries

In the Roman army there was a brutal highly organized system of training of legionaries. The physical training of Roman soldiers was achieved mainly during field exercises and specially organized classes in the camps, where soldiers were trained to perform these exercises, techniques, and actions that were used in combat conditions.
