collection_token_PCZA035_PAMBB_138.png The Battle of Paso de Patria was a significant engagement during the Paraguayan War, lasting from April 16 through April 23, 1866. In this battle, the allied forces of Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay confronted Paraguay at the strategically important village of Paso de Patria on the banks of the Paraná River. A crucial role was played by Brazilian Navy Commander Joaquim Marques Lisboa, also known as the Marquis of Tamandaré. His plan was to bombard Paraguayan positions from the water, thereby distracting them. Due to his strategy, nearly 10,000 Brazilian soldiers under the command of General Osório were able to land in Paraguayan territory. Later, for his exceptional involvement and achievements, Admiral Tamandaré was awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of the Rose—the Brazilian order of chivalry.

The Battle of Paso de Patria collection is presented in the form of a puzzle composed of 60 mosaic pieces. Collection items can only be obtained from the Battle of Paso de Patria containers. The exchange rate for duplicates of this collection is 3:1.
