Purge Page Cache

• Append ?action=purge to the end of the page URL:
• This will refresh the page with content changes pulled from outside the page itself (i.e., images, CSS, etc.)

https://wiki.wargaming.net/en/WoWS_Legends?action=purge

• If changes to a template are not refreshed, save/publish the page with no changes to force a reload of the templates.

Move/Rename Page

• Use this while the Wiki admin dropdown menus are not working:

https://wiki.wargaming.net/en/index.php/Special:MovePage/PAGENAME

Delete Page

• Use this while the Wiki admin dropdown menus are not working:
• This requires Administrator permissions (i.e., Daekoo)

Redirects

The two primary uses for redirects are to (1) redirect common or short page names to the official long page names and (2) redirect non-special character page names to the official page using special characters.

File/Image - Redirect and image "short" name to a "long" name:

• Redirect [[File:Legends Okt. Revolutsiya.png]] to [[File:Legends Oktyabrskaya Revolutsiya.png]]
• Create page named: File:Legends Okt. Revolutsiya.png
• Add this line to the page:

#REDIRECT [[File:Legends Oktyabrskaya Revolutsiya.png]]

Page - Redirect ship page "short" name to "long" name:

• Redirect Navy:Okt._Revolutsiya to Navy:Oktyabrskaya_Revolutsiya
• Create page named: Navy:Okt._Revolutsiya
• Add this line to the page:

#REDIRECT [[Navy:Oktyabrskaya_Revolutsiya]]
