Description
I staggered to my feet, wiping black Mirium debris from my mask and camera. Somehow, both were still in one piece. The same could hardly be said for the vehicle that had just nearly hit me. The longer I stared, the more I felt I was looking at a wounded creature instead of a broken machine. Stranger still, its "wounds" had been stitched with a steel chain—like a twisted mockery of a field medic's work on a downed soldier. But echo tanks are just that—tanks. They're not alive. They definitely can't bleed. So why was Mirium leaking from its warped hull? And why did it seem... afraid?
