Update 14.3: Dockyard and Unbreakable Line
Update 14.3 delivers the following:
Contents
- 1 Update 14.3: Dockyard and Unbreakable Line
Blücher Dockyard
Starts: Apr 2, 03:00 AM PT (UTC-7) / your local time: Apr 2, 05:00 AM
Ends: Jun 11, 02:00 AM PT (UTC-7) / your local time: Jun 11, 04:00 AM
Build your own Blücher and be ready to pick up new Gambia as an intermediate reward.
In History
IX Blücher, sister ship to VIII Hipper, was one of the key participants in the German invasion of Norway and Denmark in 1940, serving as the flagship of the squadron intended to gain control of Oslo. Sunk in battle by Norwegian coastal fortifications, she remains the only ship to have been sunk by shore-launched torpedoes.
In the Game
To build your very own IX Blücher, you need to progress through 20 Dockyard phases, 18 of which can be completed through in-game combat missions. Individual phases can be purchased for 2,000 Doubloons, and as usual, there are two Starter Packs to speed along your progress: a two-phase pack for
3,200 Doubloons and a six-phase pack for
7,800 Doubloons. Note that these will cease to be available after you complete the first four phases via combat missions.
At Phase 8, you'll pick up Gambia as an intermediate reward. Unlike her sister ship VII Fiji, Gambia has access to both HE and AP shells and Short-Burst Smoke Generator, making her a brutal combatant against enemy battleships.
You can complete Dockyard combat missions throughout Update 14.3 and during the first 3 weeks of Update 14.4. You'll still be able to complete phases for Doubloons during the last week, but note that the Dockyard will be removed from your Port with the release of Update 14.5.
More information will be available in a [ separate article].
Operation Ten-Go and Golden Month Event Passes
Two different Event Passes are dedicated to Operation Ten-Go and Golden Month, respectively.
Each Event Pass lasts 3 weeks, features 15 levels, and functions as a standalone Pass, meaning that once it ends, you won't be able to complete it retroactively.
As the update lasts for 6 weeks, you'll be able to earn enough points from daily and weekly missions to complete both Event Passes. Keep in mind that after the first Event Pass wraps up, the level requirements will reset, making both Event Passes balanced in terms of reward difficulty.
Operation Ten-Go
Starts: Apr 2, 02:00 AM PT (UTC-7) / your local time: Apr 2, 04:00 AM
Ends: Apr 23, 02:00 AM PT (UTC-7) / your local time: Apr 23, 04:00 AM
Dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Operation Ten-Go, the first progression line of this Event Pass offers 3 days of Warships Premium Account, the Splinters permanent camouflage, and the new Final Voyage permanent camouflage for X Yamato as the main reward.
The second progression line, unlockable for 2,000 Doubloons, will immediately provide new historical Commander Seiichi Itō with enhanced skills like his Japanese colleagues and with an individual voiceover.
You'll also find Premium cruiser V Yahagi which participated in Operation Ten-Go, and the historical Defender of the Pacific Ocean permanent camouflage for X Essex as the final reward.
Golden Month
Starts: Apr 23, 02:00 AM PT (UTC-7) / your local time: Apr 23, 04:00 AM
Ends: May 14, 02:00 AM PT (UTC-7) / your local time: May 14, 04:00 AM
Inspired by Golden Week, the first progression line of the second Event Pass features the Japanese Lacquer permanent camouflage for V Kongō as its final reward, with Red Daruma containers, the Golden Week permanent camouflage, and the Red Ray enemy destruction effect obtainable along the way.
The second progression line, unlockable for 2,000 Doubloons, grants the Japanese Lacquer permanent camouflage for VIII Mogami immediately and features Premium battleship V Agincourt as its final reward.
You'll also find the new Silver Ray enemy destruction effect among the rewards.
The rewards for completing extra levels of the first and second progression lines for both Event Passes are 1x More Signals container and 1x Rare Bonuses container, respectively.
Compensation will be issued if you already possess the following items:
12,000,000 Credits for the Defender of the Pacific Ocean permanent camouflage for X Essex.
4,500,000 Credits for the Japanese Lacquer permanent camouflage for V Kongō.
7,500,000 Credits for the Japanese Lacquer permanent camouflage for VIII Mogami.
7,500,000 Credits for V Agincourt.
6,000,000 Credits for V Yahagi.
More information will be available in a [ separate article].
Efficiency Badges
Earn marks of personal pride and prestige for performance aboard individual ships.
After completing a Random Battle, any Base XP you earned is tracked and compared against the recent average performance of other players globally who sailed the same ship you just played on. Depending on how well you perform in comparison with your fellow players, you can receive an Efficiency Badge with one of four ranks.
You can view the Efficiency Badges you've earned for each ship in your profile summary, as well as on the post-battle statistics screen for the ships you sail into battle. Additionally, you can view other players' profile summaries to see their Efficiency Badges for each ship. Only the highest-ranked Badge for each of your ships will be displayed, meaning that if you upgrade your badge, it replaces the old one.
Rules
- Efficiency Badges are available for every Tier V ship and above in Random Battles.
- Four different Badge levels are available:
- Top 1% Base XP earned in Random Battle &mdash Expert
- Top 5% Base XP earned in Random Battle &mdash 1st Grade
- Top 20% Base XP earned in Random Battle &mdash 2nd Grade
- Top 50% Base XP earned in Random Battle &mdash 3rd Grade
- Once a Badge level is attained, you can't lose it.
- Players with the violator status cannot earn Efficiency Badges.
Unbreakable Line
Starts: Apr 16, 02:00 AM PT (UTC-7) / your local time: Apr 16, 04:00 AM
Ends: May 14, 02:00 AM PT (UTC-7) / your local time: May 14, 04:00 AM
A new temporary battle type that offers all players multiple chances to make a difference!
Battles take place with Tier VIII–IX battleships, cruisers, and destroyers in a 7v7 format on smaller maps, and the battle duration is shorter than Random Battles. Get ready to brawl over Domination style Key Areas because you'll need to reach 1,000 points to score an immediate victory or have a higher score than the opposing team when time runs out. Destroying enemy ships will earn you points as usual, but your team won't lose points when your team's ships are sunk.
- After sinking, ships respawn following brief period! There's no limit on the number of times a ship can respawn.
- Upon respawning, all armaments will be fully reloaded, except torpedoes, which will only be ready to use if all tubes were locked and loaded before you sank. Combat Instruction progress will be retained, but consumable charges won't refresh, so don't use them all too early!
- Temporary buffs to speed, acceleration, maneuverability, and concealment will help you get back into the action, as you will respawn outside the map.
Unique Commander talents are disabled for Unbreakable Line battles and the economy functions in a similar way to Random Battles.
More information will be available in a [ separate article].

Armory
A new ship, the "From Narvik to Dunkirk" adventure, Golden Month, and more!
New Ship
Starts: Apr 2, 03:00 AM PT (UTC-7) / your local time: Apr 2, 05:00 AM
Starting with Update 14.3, new destroyer X A. da Barbiano will become available in the Armory for 30,000 Steel.
She's an Alberto di Giussano-class cruiser, planned to be converted into a fast anti-aircraft ship in accordance with an unreleased project developed in 1938. The main feature of the proposed modernization was replacing the 152 mm main battery with sixteen 90 mm heavy anti-aircraft guns. The project was never carried out and Alberico da Barbiano was sunk in December 1941 during the Battle of Cape Bon in her original configuration as a light cruiser.
X A. da Barbiano is armed with a unique main battery of sixteen 90 mm guns. With access only to SAP shells, she features extremely high damage per minute with reasonable shell penetration of 26 mm, allowing her to damage enemy destroyers, most cruisers, and battleship superstructure. Access to an alternative firing mode gives Alberico even more flexibility against heavier targets, with improved shell penetration of 34 mm, but at the cost of a longer reload.
The ship lacks torpedo armament. In terms of survivability, a large hit-point pool and high movement speed allow X A. da Barbiano to roll with a few punches, but her huge size, poor maneuverability, and terrible concealment for a destroyer means enemies with a good aim will be able to punish her. Rounding out her arsenal, Alberico has access to the traditional Italian Exhaust Smoke Generator and a unique Engine Boost consumable with a rather short action time, but with a bigger bonus to speed like that of French destroyers.
"From Narvik to Dunkirk" Adventure

In Update 14.3, we've prepared a Golden Month Armory event featuring three new containers:
Red Daruma Premium container Black Daruma Premium container Golden Daruma Premium container
The Daruma containers work similarly to how Santa's Gift and Golden Gift containers worked during Update 13.11.
The Red Daruma Premium container leads to the Black Daruma Premium container, which further leads into the Golden Daruma Premium container. If you already own every ship available in the container, you'll receive a higher-tier Daruma container as compensation that offers more valuable rewards.
These containers feature new ships IX Suzuya and IX Valparaíso, as well as Suzuya Golden and ZF-6 Golden. Note that Suzuya and Valparaíso will both additionally be available for direct purchase via Admiral's Packs during this update. Valparaíso will also be available in the next New Year event, which will be something like the recent Steel Fleet event for the 2024 New Year.
You can check out the contents of the three new containers in our Development Blog publication. More information about Golden Month will be available in a separate article.

Other changes
- Fixed a bug with the Search and Destroy and Interceptor Commander skills which did not affect the range for Patrol Fighters and Interceptors as intended.
- Fixed an issue which caused queuing time in a Division for Operations to be longer than expected.
- Fixed a rare bug which sometimes caused ships to not spawn near the base in The Ultimate Frontier Operation.
- Fixed a bug which would sometimes prevent you from completing the Cherry Blossom Operation.
- In rare situations during Operation Aegis, allied convoy ships would reach the bottom of the map and, once there, there would not be enough time to evacuate those ships and claim victory in this Operation.
