The A-43 is a Soviet tier 6 medium tank.

T-34 の後継車輌としてコミンテルン記念ハリコフ蒸気機関車工場 (第 183 工場) において開発された本計画には、当時の最新鋭のドイツ車輌を調査研究して得られた知見が活かされていました。モックアップ委員会は素材を研究し、各種の改良を提案したものの、開戦後、本車の開発作業は全面的に中止されました。
