The Sherman III is a British tier 5 medium tank.

Pros and Cons

Pros:


  • Good speed. On par with the M4
  • It has a lot of guns to choose from; damage dealing howitzer, quick firing 6 pdr or universal 76mm M1A1


Cons:


  • Low premium ammo penetration compared to the M4 Sherman
  • All "American guns" (M1A1, 105 mm howitzer...) that can be mounted on Sherman III, have to be researched again, even if you already researched them on M4 Sherman
