Campaigns

Campaigns are series of progressing tasks that span over several weeks and offer various rewards along the way. Rewards differ in value, but the ultimate one is always the most desirable - in case of our maiden campaign - the tier VI Premium cruiser, Atlanta. There are multiple ways to go about the completion of a Campaign. You could simply start completing the tasks without any help and move along with the progression to get to the next reward. Another way, for those players who want their progress quicker and their rewards more bountiful, is to acquire an Admiralty Backing - a support system that increases your reward count and value. Moreover, Admiralty Backing allows you to get any and all rewards that you would've gotten by reaching certain milestones within the campaign. Moreover if you feel generous with your doubloon reserves you may even skip campaign milestones, either to get a particular reward quicker or to finish the Campaign altogether.

The first ever campaign will feature Atlanta, the tier VI American cruiser with guns that reload vigorously quickly.

Please note that earning Atlanta requires an active Admiralty Backing which costs 2500 doubloonsLegends_Doubloons.png.

However, two weeks after the update goes live you will be able to complete a chain of combat missions that rewards exactly 2500 doubloons. The chain will be available for two weeks and there is going to be an extra announcement before those missions start.

Major Upgrades Selection

Feedback from players both before and after release showed that our captains want more choice when it comes to the sequence of upgrades for the ships, therefore you can now go ahead and mount any major upgrade into any of the corresponding slots with yellow and black slots. You will still need to unlock the slots with experience, however.

Flags

The freedom to mount flags to the ships of your choice is finally here! As you know, the release version only allowed for specific flags on specific ships which was not perfect, but now we have the corresponding interface elements and you're free to fly any flag you possess on any ship that you have. You can choose which flag to fly on you ships in the corresponding tab of the loadout menu.

Miscellaneous Improvements

Graphics

  • Clouds in the battle locations now have shadows whenever the weather is sufficiently sunny
  • Game login screen now has slides that offer information on current events, update or store deals.

Gameplay

  • Collision prevention system has been modified, making player ships avoid collisions even more, should they be on a crash course with an island. You can still turn it off at any time in the settings menu.
  • Minimal distance required to travel to not be considered AFK (in our case it is AFC, Away from Controller) is lowered to 2 km due to players' feedback!

Bug Fixes

  • When in division, players could still see some battle modes as valid, even if they couldn't participate in said mode
  • Fixed overly rapid camera movement when switching between ships in the port
  • Fixed the torpedo interface showing incorrect angles (for example: wide angle on the surface when narrow angle is chosen in the interface)
  • 1st victory bonus will no longer appear multiple times for the same ship
  • Fixed rare incorrect layering of the interface elements in headquarters and port
  • Fixed nicknames in the friend list appearing in too small of a font
  • Fixed the torpedo reloading sound still audible on a destroyed ship
  • Fixed rare cases of not being able to switch torpedo angles on some ships
  • Fixed the lack of voice chat IDs when players talk while browsing the battle result screen
  • Fixed the collision prevention system not turning off correctly
  • "On a Second Thought" skill now has correct percentage distribution among ranks: 15%-30%-45%, it went up to 70% at rank 2 before.
