The Birch Gun is a British tier 4 self-propelled gun.
En los años 20 los ingenieros británicos exploraron la idea de una AAP sobre el chasis de un carro. El desarrollo del vehículo comenzó en 1923 en el Royal Arsenal, Woolwich. Estaba basado en el Vickers Medium Mark II, el chasis del cual podía soportar los módulos requeridos. Se fabricaron un total de siete prototipos desde 1926 hasta 1927, que ingresaron en la Experimental Mechanised Force establecida el 1 de mayo de 1927. Más tarde se disolvió la unidad, junto con el programa de la AAP.
