- Guns are very accurate
- 203 mm guns are powerful weapons at her tier
- Can overmatch Tier III and IV cruiser plating
- Torpedoes have high damage
- Extremely thick deck armor of 48mm which, at longer ranges, allows it to bounce every shell in the game if used properly
- Decent concealment
- Has access to Sonar
